Building an acrylic case from scratch

I`m considering building an acrylic case from scratch in the form of a cube. Looking to make a split level design where your mobo is on one side of a center "wall" and your drives/psu is on the other. I also like cross flow fans but no premade cases seem to have this option. The material will be easy to come by....but the tools are another issue. I'm not loaded and have only a drill. Anyone have any ideas?
Or any tuts on building acrylic cases, preferably the cube style?

Most places will cut acrylic into custom sized squares for a small fee...

You could get 7 square foot pieces of acrylic for about 50$ before shipping and taxes. Just bolt it together with some sort bracket, or even the AC ryan corner cubes.
