I will be building a computer that will be in a room that is VERY dusty with alot of machine tools and stuff. My question is what can I do to "encase" it or whatever to prevent all that machine dust from destroying the computer?
 
Well, one thing you'll want to do is Positive Pressure ventilation. Alot of computers have dust problems when the fans pull a vaccuum inside the case allowing dust to come in at every single opening in the case. You don't want any fans pulling air out of the case everything should be blowing in. That can cut down on dust tremendously, put some filters over each intake and that should go a long way.
 
Are there any specialty enclosures made for something like that?
 
clean it regularly and only have it on when you need to use it.
I've got a machine in my garage and I only have it on when I am working on the car.
 
The other idea you could try would be to put it inside an enclosure (plywood, perhaps?), that has a fan blowing air into the enclosure with a hepa filter on it, and a fan blowing hot air out of the enclosure (shouldn't need a filter at all, since it's naturally blowing the dust away from the inside of the enclosure).

Think of a computer case inside of a box, and the box has a high quality filter on the intake, to keep the dust out. Keep the dust out of the enclosure, and you should keep it out of the computer.

how much power do you need..? anyways.. I've been succesfully running a comp with only 2 fans - one is cpu fan and the other one is PSU fan - the whole case is pretty much seald with dampening material..
 
Stick a air purifier/ionier near the front of your computer....Make sure you do not have any fans in the front to act like a intake.....
