what specific kind of power supply do I need so the hookups will works correctly? I'm buying a abit AG8 motherboard btw.... does newegg have compadable power supplys?

You dont need a special power supply to run PCI-Express...the difference is in the mobo design.

naw on the new pci-express video cards they have a new connector and I want a power supply with that connector...

There only 2 power supplies I know of at this point that have the PCI-E connector: The OCZ Powerstream and the Antec Neo. I would shy away from the OCZ for reasons outlined in this thread and this thread. Go for the Neo
