I'm going to have:

E6600
GIGABYTE GA-965G-DS3
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
eVGA e-GeForce 7900 GS PCI Express 256MB GDDR3
Seagate 320GB and another one 80GB (both are SATA)

Currently i have Antec TruePower 430W. I don't think it is going to handle it, so probably i need to get a new one. I will OC a bit. Don't need SLI. Budget is about $100. Thanks.
 
Don't worry, of course that 430W PSU will handle such system. If power is your concern, there's really no reason to be concerned about, but if you think that Antec quality is bad, then you might consider new PSU (but that Antec really isn't bad PSU - there are better of course, but that one is fine).

Just because 650W, 750W, 1000W or even 1200W Power supplies exist it doesn't mean that we actually need that amount of power for our systems. Average systems today draw around 150-200W on daily basis, and power hungry systems rarely exceed 400W (500W in more extreme systems). It's easier for manufacturers to market PSUs by their wattage, since "more is better" is easier marketing strategy. Majority of users are just fine with PSUs between 300 and 500W, future upgrades taken into account.

If you decide that you need better PSU, I'd suggest either Seasonic S12 430W, or Seasonic S12 500W if you're planning processor and graphic card upgrades (for example, for your current rig Seasonic S12 380W is enough, I know people with similar rigs and they are doing just fine with that model). Silverstone element 500W Plus is also nice, but Seasonics are better. Both PSUs are excellent, plus they are very quiet. If you want modular PSU, I'd recommend Corsair HX 520W (it's also made by Seasonic, excellent PSU too).
 
You should be fine with that 430. If you feel like you have to upgrade, why not look at the seasonic lineup of psus? They are within your budget range.


I'd just try that 430 though, you should be good to go.
