Hi, New here.. read through the entire thread on the PC-V350 lian li. And i'm looking to build one.. It's gonna be a single GPU probley q6600 with a noctua cooler.. What i can't figure out is what would be the best MoBO? I'm looking to overclock to the maximum capabilities of air cooling.. will probley modify the case as much as i can... Any thoughts are apreciated thanks.

The DFI LP Jr P45-T2RS is the best choice for an mATX for overclocking. There's also a thread here about it right beside the V350 one =)

If you aren't planning on Crossfire the DFI is superfluous.

Asus P5EVM HDMI will suit your needs. Its easily capable of 450+ FSB. Check my signature.

Thanks thats what i was wondering.. If the asus can overclock like that that should be more then enough for me. And from what i'm reading about the DFI sounds a lot simpler to work with.

Just an update..

Wen't with the asus and an e8400 got a nice stable overclock of 460fsb, and temps holding mid to high 60's with a full night of prime95. with the Noctura nhc12p.

Thanks for the tips, and this great forum.

Loki,

Thanks for the update. I'm thinking of building a similar microatx system. I can't decide between the silverstone tj08 or the lian li v350.

Any troubles keeping the system cooled in the v350, especially when overclocking? I am really worried about the lack of exhaust.

Thanks!

i have the v350, and my ambient temp is usually around 27-30c on idle, can go to 34c on load sometimes, all fans are noctua (they arent powerful fans)

and ive OC'ed my q6600 to 3.2 ghz and load temps are about 60c, with the noctua nh c12p.

people say my temps are too high so i may have put too much TIM on the hsf.
