Wow.
I got all the parts on one day and had it going the next day in the morning.
The motherboard came with only one spacer thingy, so I went up to the computer shop and bought 3. I also asked for a faceplate for the back. Well, the one didn't fit but the one in the box did (lol, duh, look in the box first). Best of all, it was all free. Maybe he was having a good day.
The case was a little flimsy but that's what I get for a $28.00 case. The side fan works well; blows good air but a little noisy and by no means my house is a quiet house but... you know. The CPU's heatsink didn't wanna go on so I ended up bending the clip thinger out some and it fits good now. Everything else was a piece-a-cake.
When I was about to first get it goin', I was so nervous.
"Okay, three, two, one..."
*press*
*nothing*
So, I opened it up, make sure all the power cords were on good. I really pressed them in and they went i little bit more in. So, I hooked everything back up, and presto! Omg, I was happy.
The only bad thing is...
It's been sitting in my living room staring me in my face screaming, "Run me, run me!"
But I can't 'cause I'm waiting for the Windows XP to come.
So, I want to thank everyone who helped me out, specially the two guys that we had a chat-fest goin', lol, I'll never forget that, plus the guy who said:
"Holy shit. This thread is disturbing."
So, thanks.
Thanks alot.
