first off I dont know if this is the right place to post, so please move if need be.

But anyways, I have woodshop at school, so i can make a pretty cool desk come later in the school year

anyone got tips to make a really rigged looking desk? im thinking making it a l shape to start off
 
L shape take up a lot of space. Make sure you have the room.

I built my desk. Its a 2 person desk, 8' long, 24" deep, with a 14" wide drawer section between the stations. Also has a hutch on top to hold my reciever, 2 speakers, and printer. Once I get some time, I have to still finish the Poly coats on the hutch. I have been using the lower desk part for a month now. Its beautiful.
 
I like corner units myself. Had a nice one a few years back, plenty of desk space to work on.
