I'm building a computer, new at it though. My budget is $1300-$1500 for a gaming computer. Just need a little help in the best products I can get for all the parts, cases, video cards, processors, mother boards, etc....Thanks

Are there any parts you don't need. Or is this everything including the keyboard and mouse?

To get you started, look for something like this:

$316 - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz
$151 - Asus P5B-E Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express
$185 - G.Skill 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2-800 F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ
$105 - Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower ($135 - $30MIR)
$96 - Corsair HX Series CMPSU-520HX 520W PSU ($106 - $10MIR) (Free Shipping)
$90 - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS 320GB 7200RPM SATA300 16MB Cache
$60 - Tuniq Tower 120 P4 & K8 CPU Cooler
$31 - Lite-On 16X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA SH-16A7S-05
===========
$1034+ tax and shipping (after rebates)

then choose a vidcard:

$100 - eVGA 256-P2-N550-T2 GeForce 7600GT 256MB ($120 - $20MIR)
$156 - eVGA 256-P2-N624-AR GeForce 7900GS 256MB ($176 - $20MIR)
$170 - Sapphire 100176L Radeon X1950PRO 256MB ($190 - $20MIR)
$200 - eVGA 256-P2-N636-AR GeForce 7950GT 256MB ($215 - $15MIR)
$230 - HIS Hightech H195XT256DVN-R Radeon X1950XT 256MB ($260 - $30MIR)
$370 - eVGA 640-P2-N821-AR GeForce 8800GTS 640MB ($400 - $30MIR)
$550 - eVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800GTX 768MB ($580 - $30MIR)

Also, do you need a monitor or any other peripherals?

This is my Exact system. Though I didn't order everything from newegg, and I would recommend using Froogle for everything to find your best deal. These parts have been specifically chosen for both quality and the ability to overclock.

Something to note is this - A case is a personal choice, it really comes down to what you like most, many recommended the "stacker" to me, but I didn't like the way it looked. So I chose the one in the link above. I've done a few days of research of each part I put into the computer (Ram and HDD excluded) so I feel I know a bit about what's going into it. Do let me know if you need any help :)
