and I finally settled on the 2500+ AMD Barton processor that Ive been eyeing...

This looks like a regular Barton, for overclocking everyone reccommends a MOBILE one, like this one, http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=19-103-401&depa=0

Too bad i don't come to this specific forum more often or i could've told you before you bought it. The mobile is OEM (you'll replace the fan anyway), $8 more, but its multiplier unlocked, so its easier to overclock. But good luck with your system.

I actually just build a similar system with a mobile 2600 in june, I have it at 3200 speeds currently with a 9800 pro which works great.

And I got that exact KDS monitor and it works fine for me.
Pretty good system you got there for only a grand.

unfortunately, i had a hard time going over $200 on a graphics card, I really didnt see myself doing it, but because of the sale they had on the one I got, I went for it.

Something tells me its going to be more than enough for my gaming needs.

And the processor...Ive been readiing a bunch of reviews that say the one I bought unlocks and overclocks with my motherboard.

So hopefully Im ok. Hopefully...

well guys, ive been thinking for a while here...and I have this 9800Pro, and I kinda with it was a Nvidia 6800. Im going to be home in America in about 2 days...and this puts me at less than 2 weeks after purchasing from NewEgg. My question is...can I return it and simply say that I want a refund or credit to purchase something else? Because if I can so that, a new top of the line graphics card for less than $300 will certainly do it for me.

I'll be looking it up too, but the Invoice from New Egg is sort of...vague.

i mean if I cant return it, I would just sell it for what I bought it for I suppose. Seems a lot of people wanted that card when I got lucky enough to snag it just in time...

Hmm...maybe I could put this up in the Buy/Sell section of the [H].
