Building a cheap work computer

I'm pissed with my machine at work, which is 8 years old PIV with 1 GB of RAM. As there is no chance to get PC upgraded, I've made a dealw ith IT department, that if I bring them my own stuff, I'll be able to use it in the office.

So, as I'll have my old case soon aviable along with F1 Samsung 750GB disc, I thought of something like this: AMD 3850-A8 APU with MSI A55M-P35, Kingston HyperX DDR3 4GB 1333MHz CL9 Blu

Though, have no idea what kind of PSU I'll need for that? Less than 500W should be enough? I want to go as cheap as possible.

I';ll use the machine for CMS on Firefox, few tabs of Firefox, word processing and that's mostly all

Try to catch the Corsair CX430 PSU on sale. Oftentimes, it's available for around $40.

If you can afford to, sneak in a 120GB SSD (e.g., Crucial M500). It will really improve the system's overall performance. You should also grab an 8GB DDR3 1333 DIMM (instead of 4GB) if you can find one for less than $70.

Before I get too ahead of myself, where are you buying parts from?

Polish retailers... unluckily US companies, apart Amazon does not ship here, and even if they ship customs and transport costs eat the difference in pricing. So consider $1 as 1 euro in prices.

SSD would dramatically raise the cost of a build - it's about $150 for 120GB so that's no go.

Let's focus on the PSU... which specific retailers are you considering? (Links?)
