Hey guys I’ve never built a pc and I’m just now coming back to pc from console. I’ve been playing console games for about 10 years now , and I’m way behind the technology curve.(I.e. water cooling cpu’s , that was sci fi channel stuff when I left pc)
I’ve been doing a lot of research on pre built vs building it myself . I’ve read a lot of content that says building one yourself is the only way to go. But some of these prebuilts seem to cost about what it would cost me.
Example: https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/READY-TO-SHIP-GAMER-MASTER-ET9934
From what I’ve found on google just the cpu and gpu is about 1k . Not even counting everything else plus the mouse and keyboard you get with it. Another positive to me is a warranty of 3 years. Total cost of this rig is roughly 1700.
To me and my very limited knowledge thus far this seems like a good deal for me for performance vs price .
I’d love to hear from the experts on this forum though if this is a solid choice or am I wasting money?
