Hello everyone,

I'm currently using a build with a 3060 ti GPU, a R5 5600x, and 32 GB Ram. I have issues with it, the USB ports keep failing and giving an error that USB Over current has been detected then it shuts down. I've done a bunch of Troubleshooting and apparently it's an issue with the zen3 Ryzen CPU's. There are other issues with the build as well, but I feel like it's time to move on.

I want a PC that will handle space marine 2 at higher end settings. I want to do video editing and audio editing with davinci Resolve, to create youtube content.
I want to keep my budget under 1300 if possible. I tried a build or two and also found a PC that is pre built.

So a couple of questions. Would it be better to buy the pre built listed below? Or the PC parts picker list below and build one? Also do you have any suggestions that might maximize performance at the budget?

Which of the choices above would be the best way to go? Or do you have a better suggestion hopefully on the lower end of my budget that still does everything I need it to do. Also in reference to the GPU's I was looking at the 7800 XT vs 6800 XT there was a mention that the 6800 xt doesn't support RTX+DLSS, which would cause it to suffer in gaming experience?

Personally I'm always in the build your own camp. I do get why a prebuilt that is ready to go and has a warranty is appealing to people though..

Here are a couple of suggestions for your list. Keep your 32Gb DDR4 kit from your existing build and get a better mobo. I chose a z690 ddr4 Gigabyte option. I also upgraded the cooler and you want M.2 storage these days at least as a primary drive IMO so I went with a 2Tb Samsung. Cases are subjective and the 4000D is good and easy to work in. PSU looks fine to me also.

The 7800xt is a good GPU but lots of people still say that Intel/Nvidia is the go to for Davinci so save even more money by keeping your 3060ti for a bit but I would look at the 4070 or 4070 super for a nice price performance Nvidia option. -- Especially if you want DLSS and Nvidia specific features without going $800 plus for a GPU. GPUs are easy to upgrade later when your needs change so don't discount keeping the 3060ti as a rollover till you decide on a GPU.

Thanks TheHig! If I do a build I"ll go with your suggestions. Does anyone have a suggestion of a prebuilt that would get me the same performance? I'm not great with building because my eyesight is a concern. So eventhough I'm a build it yourself fan as well, I'm leaning towards a prebuilt that will be a good upgrade and handle the things I need.
