I had another post recently with my ideas for a build, but Id like to get other input and follow the forum guidelines.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing?
Gaming
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1200-$1400
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Houston Texas, United states
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Motherboard, CPU,CPU Cooler, Ram, Video Card, Sound card (maybe??), HDD
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Already have- Corsair TX750M PSU, DVDRW drive, Windows 7 64 bit OS, have not made a final dicision on case.
6) Will you be overclocking?
Not really, but maybe a little
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1920x1200, samsung 2443bwt-taa-1
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
ASAP
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
Unsure
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Yes

What case will you might be reusing?
No chance you can return that PSU?
Do you have high-end speakers/headphones? And are you an audiophile?
Which version of Windows 7 64bit do you have?

case- NZXT Phantom
Yes I can return the PSU
64 bit windows 7
5.1 speakers

anything else?

Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Microcenter is actually very close by, I planned to go there this weekend.

Oh that works:
$265 - Intel Core i5-3570K CPU + Asus P8Z77-V LX Intel Z77 ATX Motherboard Combo from Microcenter
$40 - G.Skill Value Series F3-10666CL9D-8GBNT 2 x 4GB DDR3 1333 RAM
$400 - eVGA 02G-P4-2670-KR GeForce GTX 670 2GB PCI-E Video Card
$115 - Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" 128GB SSD
$110 - Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
$30 - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus HSF for LGA 1366 and LGA 1156
----
Total: $960 shipped plus tax.

In case people are wondering why I'm including a 3rd party HSF when the OP probably isn't going to OC, Houston IIRC is a fairly hot place during the summer. Hence the 3rd party HSF.
