Just built a gaming rig.

-AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Windsor 3.0GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Processor
-ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard
-XFX PVT80GGHE4 GeForce 8800GTS 320MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 GRAW Bundle HDCP Video Card

Anyway when I try to boot. I hear a single chirp and the lights flicker. The fans get enough power to move a notch and then it shuts down.... I was thinking that it might be a faulty power supply.

check to make sure that your board is properly grounded, by using all of the standoffs that the board supports, and that they are tightened down enough. Also, check to make sure you Clear CMOS jumper isn't set to "CLEAR" instead of "NORMAL"
