As per the sticky;

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc

General web based office tasks. I multitask like crazy, but in the sense of having 50 browsers open, several outlook emails open, and other office related tasks. I'm a light gamer but get heavily involved when a game catches my eye (such as COD, The new BF looks very interesting.. things of that nature)

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

I set a limit to 2k USD. I'm really looking for the best bang. I don't want to spend a few hundred bucks on something that is just a little better or not noticeable in day to day usages.

3) Where do you live?

US

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.

My old system will be become my Wife's pc. She basically needs something solid for online college courses (ms office mainly). The only thing I would be interested in keeping is my PSU, case, a secondary video card, and possibly my XFI pci sound card.

Case: Mid-atx
PSU: OCZ GameXstream 700 watt

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.

See above

6) Will you be overclocking?

Probably, but just very little if I ever feel I am nearing any limits. I don't have time to mess around with stability or dedicating myself to find a good overclock. I do get board every so often though. However I am thinking about going with the Corsair H50 to be sure I have a decent cooler (never adventured in WC)

7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?

I plan on buy monitors in the next few weeks and is not part of this budget. I currently have a 8800gt and a 7800gts right now. I do not plan to SLI/Crossfire but I do need to have two slots for two video cards so I can utilize three monitors (or 4 when I get around to upgrading those)

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

Tomorrow

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.

Generally I am looking for something that will last me a few years. I'll need to be able to run two video cards to have enough ports, and I will be upgrading my main video card. I'll reuse my 7800 for more DVI ports. Raid will be a good to have but seems to be pretty standard now days. It wont kill me not to have it.

Firewire is needed.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? 32bit or 64bit?

Yes, Win7 pro 64 bit.
