3) Where do you live?
Boston, Massachuseets
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.

I've already chosen my mobo
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? 32bit or 64bit?
64-bit windows 7 ultimate

I've been reading reviews on Newegg saying that customers have had to purchase fans for the Thermaltake Element T case. My understanding was that it came with fans and I wouldn't need to worry about it so I'm unclear as to what I should be buying as far as fans go or if I even need to buy anything at all.

Also, for the cpu cooler someone had suggested I get the "COOLER MASTER RR-UV8-XBU1-GP" but they had not seen my entire build only that I was wanted to use an intel core i7...any suggestions?

other then diitching the domiators for some g.skill or pretty much anything else (they are not worth the extra cash) looks like you got it figured out.

looks solid

check out the corsair 800D, thats a sweet case.

guru3d just reviewed the new thermaltake venomous X and look slike it rocks pretty good under extreme overclocking (4.2ghz + 1.5 v)

check that out

that case is $299.99 and I don't intend on spending quite that amount on a case :D
That being said, I saw a g.skill ripjaw series that was 3 X 2GB that one was a little cheaper but are there key differences? or is it just a brand thing? I should check sites other than newegg for RAM shouldn't I

the thing about the i7 9xx series is it has a massive amount of bandwidth. alot more then the chip can use, even overclocked. if you run 1600 spd ram with decent timings thats more then enough. anything more and its pretty much just e-peen tax.

So then why are people buying this particular brand of RAM to go along with the i7 9 series? If there are not making the most of it then it's useless right?
