Hi there time for a new build. This rig is for gaming and development and I'd appreciate some input!

I'm going to bringing over my 780 ti and hard drives from my current build. In the future I will most likely be SLI'ing two cards to feed my 4k monitor.

Intel Core i7-4790K
ASUS ATX Z97-PRO (Wi-Fi AC) (not really sure on this one)
Noctua NH-D15 (will I need low profile ram?)
Crucial Ballistix Sport Very Low Profile 32GB Kit
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2
Fractal Design Define R4 (R5 on the horizon?)

I was going to replace and add in some noctua NF-A14s. Do I want to get the PWM version if I'm going to be hooking it up into my Asus mobo for fan control?

Feel free to offer some advice and thanks for checking out my build!

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming
and
Video game development which is mostly CPU workload (compiling and building).
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Flexible
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Florida
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
CPU, CPU Cooler, Mobo, Ram, PSU, Case
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
GTX 780ti and Drives
6) Will you be overclocking?
Yes
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
4k, 28 inch
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
This week
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
SLI, m.2
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Yes

If your sig is up-to-date, you don't need to do a new PC build yet. Honestly, unless your development performance is severely lacking and you don't care whatsoever about bang for the buck value, you should be fine with your current setup until 2016 at the earliest. Maybe even 2017. Just add more RAM, get a better case, and you'll be set.

My current rig will be re-purposed over to my GF whose current setup is pretty janky (she works with me). Mostly though it gives me a reason to upgrade, but don't tell her that ;)

What kind of development are you doing?

Also, please answer the stickied "ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FIRST!" so that we can help you better.

Wi-Fi AC, is a newer standard for wifi basically, provided you have an AC router, little spendy but if you want a stable connection with very little interference & faster link speeds it's the way to go. I run wireless N @300mbps, but on 2 channels simultaneously as well because I live in a crowded city.
