1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc : Gaming primarily
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included? $650, yes.
3) Where do you live? 37642 - TN, USA
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Case and everything in it, keyboard, mouse and a basic 2.1 sound is preferable, but able to go 2.0 if not able to in the budget
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
None, just a 22" 1680x1050 LCD, I think a 1TB storage drive.
6) Will you be overclocking? Probably not, unless he wanted me to do it for him
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have? 22" LCD 1680x1050
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Within the next 2 weeks
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc. None of these are a major deal
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit - Nope, Windows 7 64 Bit Preferred
This is a build for a cousin, and I normally post in here, but with keyboard, mouse and speakers tacked on it's a bit tricky. I haven't started pricing yet, but I thought some people would have a few templates put together. He mostly plays World of Warcraft, he may get into some other games since he will now have the horsepower to do so. If he does, it'll prolly be light FPSing or strategy games and RPG. I don't think he's super obsessed with eye candy and all that.
$650 is his highest amount he'll go but willing to adjust a +/- $15 difference if needed depending on the benefits. You shouldn't need to explain them to me, I will understand what they are. If possible, i'd like to have the best 3 builds for this price range to present to him.
