Just looking for some feedback on this proposed build, primary uses are, Blue-Ray player, Netflix streaming, DVD media library, and music player. I plan on running Vista/Media Center as well as MyMovies for DVD management.

Antec Aluminum Veris Fusion Black 430
GIGABYTE GA-MA78GPM-DS2H
SAPPHIRE 100264L Radeon HD 4350 512MB
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066
Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31000340AS 1TB 7200 RPM
LG Black LG Blu-ray/HD DVD-ROM
GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter

The video card is needed to support component, as my current TV does not have HDMI.

i think you can use a VGA to component cable as the single is the same.....

i got one today and i will post if my 780g will do component with it from the VGA. I have the foxconn 780g with DVI and VGA

also look at the WD 1TB black for performance or Green for energy savigns and heat reduction. benchmarks show he seagate is slower than the black

other than that it looks good.....

So...did you get it to work? I'm looking at having to do the same thing. I've already ordered the cable, but I don't have high hopes in it working.
