Whenever I edit a post of mine, the pictures get screwed up. They only get linked after the edit...they no longer display.

Can you please supply the actual code you are using ?
 
i'm not sure what you mean by code.
here are a couple screenshots to help explain...

if i make a new post w/pictures, the post will display fine. if i have to edit the post after its been completed, this is what happens:

tags...

after i save my edit, this is how the post looks:

IE7 is working fine for me. What is your broswer and version?
 
Haste, I see your settings show you're using the Enhanced (WYSIWYG) Editor Toolbar. Can you switch to the Standard Editor Toolbar (via your User Control Panel) and try it again and let us know if it works the same way for you?

Cool, so the Standard Editor worked for you? Please do still tell us your browser/version/OS. I know from one of the mods here that uses a Mac that not all of the features in vBulletin are compatible with certain Mac browsers.

EDIT -- Just noticed, the post in question is in GenMay... dunno if theres anything different feature wise in genmay, other than its a subscribers thing... ill go hunt for some of my posts with pics...

After editing a post, I can no longer use space and shift+space to go up and down the webpage.

I just had the same problem.
Clicked to edit the text and one of the images in my last post changed to a link.
Once I switched to the advanced editor I got my first image back.
(using FF)
 
I'll post this here instead of making a new thread.


I can't edit posts in the [H]ard|OCP Front Page News subforum. Seems fine anywhere else.



Notice that I am logged in and the edit/delete icon is not there.
 
That feature is disabled in that particuliar forum. Post what you mean and mean what you post ;)
