Budget Xfire Help

I am looking to play with a Crossfire setup, I want to stay with in a budget and just like most people I would like the best 'bang for my buck'.
I currently have a single XFX 5770 and thought about picking up another. But from what I can tell a single new card would probably match x2 of those. In consideration also is the fact that I don't play any games on max setting or the biggest resolution, but I do like then to be pretty and very smooth.
Any help or advice is welcome and thank you all!

You may just want to consider a better single card solution, like a 6870 if you want to stay ati.
