Looking for a budget video card anywhere from 50-125 dollars. Im not sure which brand to go with nvidia or ati, so suggestions are welcome. Not going to be doing any gaming on it, mainly used for internet, web surfing and word processing....

Thanks for any help!

If you are not going to game, then just get the cheapest agp/pci card you can find.. should be able to get something for 30-35 dollar range, maybe less.

i have a GeForce MX4000 AGP that's brand new (barely used...bought it for a cheap linux system) that i'll sell ya for $25 + shipping. i have the box, and i believe the booklet & all the stuff that came with it as well. i'll have to clean up a bit and find everything, but i think i still have it all.

Yea if your not doing any gaming then go with either a nvidia mx4000 or a radeon 9550 brand new retail for 50 dollars and it supports directx 9.

Im sure you could find a 9600pro/XT or a 9800pro in the FS/FT threads within your price range. Great cards :D

i think that's a BIG time overkill. there's no need for 284x AA and 143x AF for browsers now.. :p
