budget system

I'm putting together a upgrade budget system for a guy. His old gateway is dead. He uses the computer for work. I can use the 60 gig HDD out of it, the Geforce 4 MX 440, and the SB live. So I need to get him a mobo, CPU, RAM, and a new power supply. This is what I was thinking:

Which of these two would be the better mobo. I am leaning towards the gigabyte but was wondering if anyone has had any experience with either one.

As for the mobos get they Gigabyte, because it has free shipping and I think Gigabyte is a btter brand than MSI, and you might need to purchase a new case if the mobo won't fit in the old Gateway case.
