That is one hell of a deal if you don't mind the MIR. Pretty good cooler too from what I've read.
 
Stock the A50 is better than the Hyper 212+, not to mention the Hyper 212+ cost nearly 3x that of the A50. The Hyper 212+ only performs better when you add a second fan. The A50 will not allow you to add a second fan unless you modify it by making a new bracket or being creative with 4 zip ties. In that case I would expect the A50 to once again do better than the Hyper 212+.

i recommend corsair a70. cools my 2500k nicely. i see 70c @ 4.5ghz running 50 passes of ibt with avx.
 
I have the a50 myself on my 4.5 ghz 2500k you wont regret it =), although the a50 might block 2 slots on of your RAM did to mine but i just used the other 2 slots i have the G.skill ripjaws X so they have pretty huge heatsinks couldnt fit under the A50's fan
 
There's a new rebate up for $15 this time rather than $20 which makes it $15.99 for those that are interested.
