1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming, Web, Basic apps (word etc), sometimes photoshop, and general multitasking.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$750, but i wouldn't complain with $700.
3) Where do you live?
Nebraska
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.
everything, PSU, CPU, GPU, ram, case etc.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
I could possibly reuse and old optical drive from a dell we have sitting around.
6) Will you be overclocking?
no.
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
22" 1680x1050
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
within a week
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
nothing specific, no raid, no sli just basic.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?
yes, cheap prices at school. $15 ftw.
This is what I'm sort of looking at. I've always been an Intel/Nvidia guy, but its looking like in this price range, AMD/ATI is the better buy? Am i correct in thinking that?
