Friend bought a crappy ass best buy computer and now wants to play games on his 1080i big screen. I made him check the PSU and and its a FSP 300 watt. He is either going to need a GTX260 or a 4870. (leaning towards the GTX260) Price is currently an issue but I don't want junk. The system has a 640gb drive and a low end core two duo. what is pretty cheap to get him buy and still not be junk?
 
is he going to be adding anything later on, or is this going to be it until a new computer?
 
a GTX260 doesn't look like its going to fit in his rig. for a 4850 (the short palit version) I am thinking a 430 earthwatts?
