I went and got a Voyager Pro Plus, and for the first day or so the head set worked fine with my phone and my PC....still works great with my PC......however it isnt working worth a dam now for my PC(which is my primary purpose for the headset), anyone here have a suggestion of a good blue tooth headset that is available at Best buy?

The primary use is with the PC, so i am going to take the Voyager Pro Plus back (just not working for what i want), and exchange it.....not sure what ill end up with, would prefer a BT one for both phone/PC, but if not ill end up with a gaming one......

so ya, any suggestions are much appreciated

I'm pretty sure it's a defective unit. The Pro Plus is the best headset on the market.

Why not call up Plantronics and get support for it? not sure what to tell you.

it is hit and miss with the head set and PC's, from the looking around all i can see is that they say its a MS thing, since they do not make drivers for their headsets like the Voyager Pro Plus.

The Voyager Pro Plus has a good rep, but I typically like a smaller in-ear hookfree setup.

Right now I'm using a BlueAnt Q2 and its great. Prior to this I used a BlueAnt Q1, Jawbone Icon, and Apple iPhone Bluetooth Headset (which was actually quite awesome in its size/form factor, but it eventually became so quiet that it was unusable). Check out BlueAnt here - http://myblueant.com/compare/headsets.php

For my uses the Q2 is better than the larger "rugged" one. It also has a nice design that doesn't need to sit on your cheek and a handful of ear gels that are the most comfortable of any I've ever used.

Second place goes to Jawbone. Their new offering is the Era, which is a marginal improvement over the Icon. http://www.jawbone.com/headsets/era/overview - its an all around good unit, but I'm not a fan of the thing having to touch my cheek, for instance and despite the price I don't think the audio quality is what it should be. However, I'm vary particular. The Jawbones all have some nice peripheral features like "apps" and different voice profiles allowing you to load them in for when it talks to you

I ended up returning it, and ordered a G930.....the ability to use in my car with my phone was a side benefit(which didnt work too well anyhow), the PC use was the primary.

What about the Rocketfish RF-MAB2?

I'm also looking for a good BT headset to work with both my PC and phone, but I want it in stereo.
