BSOD with Mirror's Edge?

I have a 4870 X2 with the latest 9.8 drivers, but after playing Mirror's Edge for about 10 minutes, it freezes then goes to a BSOD...

Previously with 9.7 drivers, Mirror's Edge would just freeze and if I would Alt-Tab out and close the process quick enough, Windows would say that the display driver stopped responding and has recovered. Otherwise, my computer hangs and I have to force it off...

Anyone else have issues?

do you have the lastest Mirror's Edge patch?
what PSU do you have btw?

Now would be a good time to make sure the fan is working and blow out the dust on that card.

As leSLIe suggested, your PSU might be causing it also.

I see it's a liquid cooled card in your sig. Make sure it's getting fed cooled liquid.

I actually do not know what PSU, but from what I have heard, it is a 1000w PSU...

I don't have issues in any other game than Mirror's Edge (Crysis runs on max 1920x1200, 8xAA)

I am sure that the card is being cooled properly :)

Maybe try re-patching or reinstalling it then since it's the only game you're having a problem with.

Yeah, I have tried that many times... I will do it again to be safe. It seems like I am the only one that is having the problem though... Odd...

Does it auto update, or are you installing a patch you've downloaded?
If you downloaded the patch, might be worth a redownload incase the patch was corrupted.

It was autodownloaded by the download manager.
