heres the deal...
i had to reinstall my OS last night and i got everything installed while the computer was running at default settings in the BIOS so nothing is overclocked. so my current settings are RAM is at the speeds of the SPD chip and the FSB is at 200Mhz x 4 = 800Mhz and the CPU is running at 2.6Ghz. everything runs fine and i can do whatever i want while the computer is at default settings. when i overclock i have my FSB at 250Mhz which in turn causes the CPU to operate at 3.25Ghz and i have PC4000 corsair XMS series RAM(rig in sig for reference). the second i overclock anything i get a BSOD and a slap in the face. i can get to the logon screen and try to log into my account. i get the BSOD when the computer is loading my configuration settings. i have no clue whats going on. i am using the RAID array for the OS and i have a second harddrive on the IDE channel for doing images of my boot partition. if you guys can help me out then im am asking you while on my knees(yea yea dont get any ideas
).
thnx for any input.
