Here are my specs first:

Antec Super LanBoy Tower
AMD 64 3000+ 1.81ghz w/ hyper 6 hsf
DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-D
athena psu 500w
wd 120gb ata
maxtor 60gb ata
sound blaster audigy 2
bfg 6800gt
dvd-rw 4x dynex
cdrw atapi

I was unsure where to place this but here goes. When ever i game for long periods of time 1-2 hours i close the game application and try to browse the internet soon after i get a BSOD im not sure what the msg said because the pc just reboots itself right after. Then i reboot my pc and it gets hung in the windows load up all i see is the loggin on screen and nothing. I reboot again, then everything is fine. I had an ultra-d mobo and i had similar problems but i sold the ultra-d because i wanted to go sli, so i doubt its the mobo causing me these issues. So far i had to reformat my pc a few times because my registry files get corrupted. I have tried to oc the pc once before but loaded the defaults soon after. I have replaced these hard drives and traded them out for new ones, set the right jumpers etc. I wonder what could be thats causing the issue. I think its either the power supply, Memory or processor. Can anyone shed some light please? :(

Go System Properties -> Advanced -> Startup & Recovery.
Turn off auto-restart after failure and you'll be able to read the BSOD.

First I would download and run Memtest86+ to check for memory errors.
Run for around 3 loops error free is normally ok.
Then try Prime95 to check out the CPU.
Anything from 1 to 24 hours error free is good.
Then add a loop of 3dMark to stress the vid card.
While running Prime keep an eye on your CPU's temps and record max also see it any of your voltage rails drop as you load up the PC.
I would also download a Hard drive checker.
The Ultimate Boot CD has most of the test programs on it.

If your hardware checks out ok then start thinking about updating all drivers, etc.

Luck............... :D

I'll do that when i get home and see if any problems occur, thanks for the info. if everything comes out alright then its either driver related or the psu.

I started getting a BSOD on my DFI nf4 ultra-d last night. The error said "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and at the bottom it either said NVTCP.sys or HTTP.sys. I'm pretty sure I fixed the problem(It was happening about every 10 minutes, now it's been a few hours). If you are having the same problem, here is what I did:

First, I uninstalled Nvidia Firewall.

Second, I followed the advice of VirteX on dfi-street:

**Note: If your using Upnp devices on your network you may or may not need this service, MOST people will not require this service to be running, but if your not sure it's probably best to ask someone before turnning this service off. Stopping this service should not affect if your computer will Boot or not so if it causes problems simpley restart the service and for now wait till MS releases a new http.sys file.
Solution:

Start -> Run

TYPE: services.msc

Click OK

scroll through the list untill you find a service called

SSDP Discovery Service

the status should say it's Started and it's Startup Type should say Manual
Double click it

change the Startup type to Disabled and then click the Stop Button

Restart your computer and this should fix most networking issue's you are having.

I hope that helps.
