Ok i just got new CPU, Ram, mobo, and video card

I went from the following:
AMD XP2500+ @3200+ speed
Shuttle AN35N ultra
1 gig of kingston ram
MSI 6600GT AGP

to the the spec's in my sig below. i am not overclocking anything at this point.

now i didnt reinstall Windows XP, I just left it as and uninstalled all the drivers and install all the new drivers. Which worked just fine. But now when I play a video file (avi, wmv, mpg) it will BSOD at random. I have played Quake 4 for a long time with no problems, I have ran memory testing and it pass's with flying colors. I have even ran 3Dmarks 2003 all the way and not a error.

Do you think i just need to clean install of Windows XP or would a repair fix the issue?

I would do a clean install. I would bet that there are some driver fragments left over that are causing your problem.

And not to be an asshole, but you should edit your sig, it's PCIe, not PCI X....
