I have had the CNPS7000-ALCU processor cooler for the past two years.

Today ... so upset with myself :( ... my cold cathode light tube fell onto the fan while it was spinning. A fin broke off of the fan and now the whole thing vibrates and makes godawful noises (estimate that it's around 60 dB when it used to be no louder than 28 dB).

Do you think I could super glue the fin back on and it'd be okay or do you think it'd still vibrate since it'd still be a little lopsided? I already sent an e-mail to Zalman but unfortunately, the fan being two years old and it breaking because of me, I doubt they'll do anything.

So far I figure I'll try super glue if Zalman contacts me and says they can't do anything... that way I can try and if it fails just buy a new one (probably that new like what is it... the CNPS9500?)

You know you can swap out the fan.

Unscrew the screws from the side (it won't fall apart), unmount the fan, tape/glue a piece of cardboard there, then a spacer or two, double sided taped to a chopped fan.

HighLife, post those pictures of That zalman.

Yeah you can either order another fan from Zalman for like 5$, or chop up any old fan to make it work.

u cant superglue, because it is moving. i mean, sure u can glue or attach it. but it's function is to keep on spinning and eventually it's gonna fall off.

take BBq's advice.
