Just today, my radeon 9800 pro just broke.It had some crazy blocks of color everywhere. These aren't artifact marks, but it won't do anything in video games. ATI support was no help to me so i think i'll just send it in to get fixed, but ill wait a little if any of you can offer any ideas.

I had that same problem, RMA it and get a different one.

It also may be your power supply, I remember when I sent my 9800 back 3 times thinking it was the card, but everytime it had the same problem. IT turned out that it was my powersupply not giving it enough power
 
I just RMA'd it, it wasn't the power supply because another video card works in my computer and this one didnt work in any other computers.
