Sorry i seem to be almost spamming this forum with my crap

just curious, should an E4500@ stock speeds be only getting a 364 cpu score?

3DMark Score: 2390
SM2.0 Score: 1286
HDR/SM3.0 Score:1395
CPU Score: 364

i ran it 4 times, first time i got a 900 something, the other 2 i got in the low 400's and the last one i got 364. Even the 900s seem low. I made sure every program on my pc was off, and even switched my aero theme to classic view before i ran the tests.
The cpu test runs stupid slow, it has a perfect ratio of 2 frames per second everytime i run it and takes like 5 minutes each. Could 3dmark06 be broken?

If your cpu was "broken" then your computer wouldn't even turn on, much less score a low # on some stupid benchmark.

So no, you do not have a broken cpu. And just cuz some random benchmark is not quite on par with others doesn't mean you have a bad cpu. It's just a number, who cares what you have as long as your processor does what you need it to do.

So unless your life requires you to get the highest # possible in that benchmark, I wouldn't worry. If the actual software that you use (say games, or photoshop, or Maya) were not performing well then yes you should be worried. But just cuz a benchmark is giving you a low number doesn't mean your computer is crap.
