Hey, I hate to come out and ask for help in forums, but I'm hard up!

I got a Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705 a while back, and I got loaded up with some trojan madness, and had to format, being me, I didnt order a backup CD when I got the laptop, so I had to reinstall Windows and snoop around the internet and find the drivers.
Dell.com had driver of course, and everything is working now, except that my wireless connection is slower than dialup. I have the latest driver according to Dell, and I dont have a clue where to go now. Ive checked all the connections for the antenna and the wireless cared and everything is fine.

Other than the drivers not being compatible with SP3 (This was the case with the audio, but there was a way around it and it works now) I am at a loss as far as what to do.
I'm not new to computers or building them or fixing them, I just ran out of things to try and am hoping somebody out here has a clue.

Help me get this fixed and ill paypal you $10.00 for your helps =)

Also, I use this thing at work as well, and its slow there. And at home, my brother has normal speed on the network and at work, my other laptop is fine. So its definitely my laptop.

Which wireless card do you have? Model?

Also, try the LAN drivers from the manufacturer's website. Link

Just so ya know, the "Broadcom 440x 10/100" has absolutely nothing at all whatsoever to do with wireless anything. The 440x is the wired ethernet port.

Try speedguide.net. Use their tcp/ip Optimizer. That may help some.
