Breaking into the top 100

Well I finally did it. Tonight I broke into the top 100. Sure I can't keep up with many of you but since January of this year I have climbed to 99th spot and over 16 million points. My 3 boxes, a Q9550 with 2 GTX 460's, an I7 970 with 1 GTX460, and finally my I7 2600K together are churning out over 110K ppd.

Best I can do... especially since I am retired and on a fixed income.
 
Top 100 on this team is an impressive accomplishment.

Yeh, over 100k ppd on most any other team would make you a top producer. We jsut do it a bit [H]arder here.

Just got to looking at some stats...

I came from 2CPU.com where I had folded since 2004. I was in the top 5 I think at one time. I looked today and am still #7 although my threat list is building. hehe.

I saw where I had folded for 7 years and made 13 million points. Which we always thought was a great deal. Now I have folded here for less than a year (01.13.11) and have made 16 million. How times change.

Now if I just don't go broke paying the electric...
 
Well its not really that hard... this is only 3 machines running and one is a Q9550 that isn't all that strong.
At one time I had 9 machines running here. Old dual cpu socket 604's. Used to heat up the room pretty nice. Not to mention the electric bill.
These newer machines are much faster and more efficient...

So you can catch me if you try...

I guess you just have to get it [H]ard...

I hear that, I was top 20 on team Ubuntu, one of the top producers

over here I am little fish...hope to make top 500 by yuletide
 
Its not always about how fast you can put up points, but how long you keep it up.

I'm only putting out 30k ppd and i'm 70th place.

Although recently my accelerated decline in the ranks has been getting on my nerves!! The mower blade has hit me so much its getting dull!!!!
 
I have been folding for 1.2 years and am only at 75. Hey I just crossed 25Mil!

I get to burn in new hardware sometimes though so that gives me an advantage.
