Breaking 1,000,000 today

I'm going to break the 1,000,000 point mark today, maybe with the next update.
WOO-HOO, bout time...........................:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

SMP and 2 GPU clients running on the signature rig is kickin like a Bruce Lee flick
Plus 3 other boxen GPU folding with 8800GTS's

AND, I just realized that I might be in the top 500 in the next few days/weeks...........

Oh yeah :D............................. I'm always trying to think of things I can do to improve PPD. Because of my job, I live in an extended stay hotel. I pay by the month so I can levae my things here when I go home for the weekend. I bring my most power hungry rigs up here. :D:D I was gonna assemble another boxen this weekend, but I am supposed to be going to the Coca-Cola 600. If I end up not going, I shall have another rig folding up here starting Monday night. I have the parts (except decent GPU's)to assemble a couple more small rigs, I just have no time.

Breaking a million is definitely a milestone for me. I started folding in 2005, but I only amassed 50k or so points and quit. :( (Divorce will do that) :( I just picked it back up in November 2009, and I am already at 1M points.

go to the race.. its worth it, especially if you have never been to one before. i cant wait til the race in Sonoma.. going to that race again.. went the the IRL race a few years ago as well.. thats the last time ill ever go to an IRL race again..
 
Everything for the race is already reserved. It all hinges on whether my buddy get paid or not. His boss has been slacking badly on pay for a couple months now.

Last year, we went to the Coke 600(Nationwide and Cup Race) and the fall race in Atlanta.
This year, we went to the Atlanta spring race, Talladega, hoping for the 600, and planning on making the Bristol night race. Someday, I would like to make a few of the west coast races, but I am gonna have to hit the lottery first :D:D:D

Ya know, If I took my race money, and put it toward boxen and electricity, I could hit 100K PPD. :D:D:D:D

 
I'm jealous. I've always wanted to go to those races but never have the opportunity. Sure they have them at the Brickyard over in Indy, but I can' never find anyone brave enough to come with me and I don't want to go alone. My friends think it is a redneck thing........

However since I now have a hybrid, i'm not sure if I should go.

Congrats on your milestone and I hope your friend gets paid!

lol the pace car used in the NCWTS is a toyota hybrid.. so i dont think you have to worry about anything.. just go alone and have fun walking the parking lot buming beers off people.. thats what i did.. was drunk as hell by the time i walked in and didnt pay a single dime for beer :p
