Looking to get a SAS card for a new build supporting 2TB / 3TB drives (4TB down the road). Not really needing sata 3 6gbs or any raid as I'm going to be using ZFS. What is the better card or is there a main difference.

Also does the bri10i support 3TB+ drives? Does the m1015 support 3TB+ drives? Looks like LUN size is around 64TB on both.

Thanks!

br10 doesn't support more than 2.2TB, so m1015 is the HBA you should get.

br10 is quite cheap though.

it was :p...

the price is going up ~$100 ,
due on demand? could be.

It cycles up and down with supply. It has averaged as high as $150/card and as low as $50/card for most of the last year, with the $70-80 range being fairly typical. I actually scored 10 at one point for $30 each (and short term became a reseller. <g>). Keep watching over the next couple of weeks and you will probably see it back in the $70-80 range. Or if you are in a hurry just pay the 100 bucks now...its still a darn good deal.

Yeah, I was just outbid. I'm ready to buy one as well. One listing closed yesterday at $103
I can afford to hold out for $80.

the lowest that I saw was ~$50... for $30... you can get a good profit on reselling :D.

the last time, I bought $70( free shipping)

when I checked on last week.. holly craps.. ~$100....
$100 is not a good deal for me :p. my range(including shipping fee) is $50-$70 or lower :D.
