BoxMaster Cardboard Case! Check it out!

yea but theres zero style to it, I mean they could have added some cool looking angles, painted it a nice color, added a window with rounded edges, etc.. just cuz its cardboard dont mean you cant do anything to make it look nice.

I'd be the evil guy who snickers and walks by, striking a match just laffing as I watch his beatiful creation burn like a witch! muahahahaha!

It's style is that fact it's made out of cardboard. I would buy one in a heartbeat.

It's made out of effing cardboard, what else do you need?

Painting it would make it less obvious that it's made of cardboard.

Moding it could be fun.......

no need for plexyglass, saran wrap is all you need! you could even put it on with hot melt glue... no: Hot cheese strait off a pizza.

Painting it's a good idea. If you're on a budget just leave it near a kindergarten untill it's used for a project. Better yet take it paintballing with you.

yea kyle posted this a year or 2 ago and i seem to remember it costs like $150 so kinda insane

Heh, good for those folks that are paranoid about spending cash on a case with BTX right on the horizon... just crumple it up, throw it away, and buy a new one. Biodegradable!

I think maybe putting high-temp equipment in a carboard container, could be a fire hazzard. I wonder if they did any long term testing on it.....

hahahaha
gunner (headshot graphic) -BiGWooDy-
DAMMIT!

EDIT: Nope, cant start on fire unless its directly exposed to it...
and i dont think many people have fires going in their cases;)

I would imagine cardboard has a flashpoint somewhat similar to paper, or at least close. Don't know about the glue that holds some of it together. So hopefully your computer isn't running at 451 degrees F.

yeah i remember this thing from back in the day (note back in the day could have been yesterday i just meens im not sure when i saw it)

if you get good airflow (who needs a hole saw to instal a fan, just stab it with a pencil a couple times, and you have a fan hole and grill) temps shouldnt be an issue (line it with foil, and paint over it so it reflects the heat, but doesnt concuct electricity that well (or ground the foil)

or you can just get a shutle, and put it in a paper lunch bag, an pretend you spend $130 for your cool case

Edit: found a link i was looking for, guy on tech TV did a nice cardboard case linky
