One of the (two) machines on my home network is having issues. For the third time in about a week, it has completed a WU, turned it in successfully, and then been unable to connect to the assignment server to get a new WU. Restarting the service seems to temporarily solve the problem (although just now that machine picked up yet another of those nasty lambda melt WUs). The other machine on the network is able to connect just like it should. Is anyone else having the same difficulty? Until recently, this box hasn't had any such problems--just in the last week or two.

my box has been doing that thru the entire [H]bowl....it will usually take it a day or two to pick it up unless i manually restart the client. So i dont know :D

Me too.... and it's a pain in the ass because my boxes are all over town, and there are times when I'm away from them for days..only to find they have been sitting idle:mad: ....and all I ever get are the lambda melts.. it's kind of discouraging if you want to know the truth. It's taking five or six days to finish these damn things...

Oh well, I don't know what's up either.

On the upside the Lambda melts take days to process so you shouldn't miss out on much :) On a more on topic note I think that the network switchover that Stanford did a week or two ago has some adjustments that need to be made :)
