Built this machine about 8 months ago. (the rig in question is in my sig) Had a configuration set in the BIOS that I have been running for about 7 months. About 1 month ago, I updated the BIOS to the most current version (F8), re did all my BIOS settings, and up until 10 minutes ago, everything has been working great.
What happened was, i rebooted to boot into Ubuntu, and the BIOS splash screen came up, which i have turned off, so i was a little worried. Then a screen came up saying there was POST errors, and to pick a configuration to use, use the last known config, or boot with defaults (that might not be exactly what It said, but im sure you know the screen)
I selected my saved setting, and it seemed to boot fine, but upon opening CPUZ, it seems all my settings are back to default. Im just concerned with what to do next. This has never happened before, and I REALLY dont want anything to go wrong. Please, if you know how to steer me in the right direction, I would be most grateful.
