Bought the BFG Ultra 6800

Well, I've sold my soul to the devil . I went out and ordered the Ultra 6800 OC 256 from Chumbo, and an Antec True Power/Control 550W from New Egg. Chumbo even hooked me up with free overnight shipping . Can't wait for it all to arrive...

If you could check that out for me then I would be very grateful. Congrats on the purchase of the card which is excellent for me and the only issue i am having is the above detailed in Far Cry, doom 3 and ut2k4 run like a dream. Cheers dude.

Sure thing bro, as soon as it comes in . One thing that I did notice is, why does BFG put a free copy of Far Cry in the BFG 6800 OC boxes, but not the GTOC/Ultra boxes. I already have FC, but stiil, you are paying more money .

You can get in the pre-order line here from Chumbo. When I placed my order, they said they were expecting the cards this week, or early next. They even upgraded my shipping to overnight for free .

I just bought a BFG 6800 GT OC yesterday and mine didn't come with a copy of Far Cry :{ Just a drivers and demo disk.

Hasn't arrived yet . Sucky thing is, when I ordered Chumbo said the Ultras were in "low stock." After they stuck my credit card on hold for the $499, the status changed to "On Order." I'm slightly peeved, but not suprised. Doom 3 seems to be causing a hardware shortage . I e-mailed BFG, trying to find out when Chumbo would get more cards and got this back.

Heh, that sucks, you're paying more money and you get a skimpier bundle.

My guess is no, only the 6800 and the 6800 GT appear to be getting the blue PCBs and the "custom" HSF. As far as I can tell, they're going to be coming looking something like this. However, since BFG hasn't released the final press images yet, it's hard to tell.

Anyone with a current BFG Ultra 6800 care to post some pics? I couldn't find any in the "show off" thread.
