Specs are in sig, anything I should upgrade to?
Some games are still kinda choppyish, is it my processor?
 
depends on the games really. Did it have the same behavior right after you installed XP? Could just be a softare problem.
 
I am getting a 9800 pro tommorow and gonna reformat again, and put no stuff that i don't need on.

just wondering if anything is holding me back
 
Nothing in the system really screams out as being way too slow for modern times, since you have a Northy 'B' and a 9700 Pro. Maybe some games are just choppy no matter what, or you have too many apps running in the background sucking up resources.
 
Yeaha, when i reformat i am gonna put everything in the best spot
 
Maybe more memory, is your 80gig HD 8meg cache???
 
ARe your drivers updated??? How about chipset drivers?
 
What are your temps under load with stock heatsink.

If to hot maybe suffering a little thermal thottleing.
Just an offchance.

30 idle, at 2400mhz, stock

about 47 when playing cs with stock hsf
