it's not a bad amp at all. Just use the correct amp for the job.

The Crack amp is an output transformerless amp of about 300mW output power designed specifically for high impedance headphones (best above 120 ohms). It’s a favorite of Sennheiser HD585/HD600/HD650 and HD800 users.

all those headphones with 300 ohms impedance and nonflat impedance graphs are gonna have distorted frequency response with that amp.

Was coming to post this, pretty damn good deal.

I have been eying these for a while for my HD650s, but not sure if I want to bite the bullet on this or get a solid state amp of some sort, as I am still unsure if I would like the sound of a tube amp.

My other issue being that I don't know shit about soldering, much less want to buy gear for something I am essentially going to use once, or more than once for this project as I would destroy the fuck out of something and have to redo it umpteen times.
