Hry guysm after a storm last night my machine was left nost posting, but everything lighting up. Well, swapped out my trust TTGI Plug N Play and tried the system out with a 550 Watt Sol-Tech I have lying around just in case things like this happen. Well, all goes well so I do some checking on the TTGI with my trusty multilmeter. On the 24 pin all the voltages check out as do the grounds. However the with the 24-20 pin adaptors all is off, all the positive readings are giving me off the chart negative readings, so I'm guessing that adaptor is botched.
However, I noticed that even without jumping the green (PS_On) to ground the power supply turns on when I switch it on? When I plug it into my mobo it stays off until press the power on button on my case, but out in the open it turns on solo, is that right?
Give a guy a hand here, friggin Sol-Tech only has 4 molex connectors! I'm sharing my video card with my dvd burner AND my 120 outtake fan! Not to mention no CCL's or Fan Controller plugged in!
