A few days ago, at the request of a person in an adjacent office, I borged their new 2.0 P4 used by students to surf the net and to print out resumes and such.

Yesterday I went back to make sure all was well. I had used the Graphical Client and the little icon was in the task bar. But when I checked, the client was stuck. It turns out that when they set up the machine (after I did the borg), they set up the default user with Read Only on the hard drive to keep users from installing applications and saving personal information to the disk. Sure enough, when I change this to Read/Write on the Folding folder, it then worked. Of course, I'll check again today to see if all is well.

Running the Graphics client allows me to quickly physically check if the client is working. I can't access the computer from my system because it is on a different network. Anyway, today I checked it and it is working. :)
