Stand-alone game taking place between Borderlands 1 and 2. I didn't see a thread for this since it's a separate game developed by 2K Australia and published by Gearbox. It's coming to PC, 360, and PS3 this Fall.

Playable characters are:

  • Athena
  • Wilhelm
  • Nisha
  • ... Claptrap
Game pretty much plays like the other two Borderland games with added environmental mechanics at play-- gravity and the need for oxygen. Oxygen plays several roles: it keeps you alive, can be used as both an offensive and defensive maneuver, and long-jumping. The moon you play on has low gravity and a very thin atmosphere. Enemies (and you) can fly great distances or into outer space if knocked back hard enough.

i hate it when a franchise starts switching/rotating developers. I hope it's as good as the former two.

Me too, I'm still going to end up buying it though. :eek:

Going to play as claptrap just to annoy my friends......
