Hey there you guys.
I'd like to get some opinions on this border.
Such as, the text, colors, size, overall layout etc.

this "widescreen" border seems to work fine with those dark pictures. but i'd like to see it with some lighter images to make up my mind about it. overall, i like the composition. it's very simple and clean so it's a plus. the font with your name is right on, but i'd experiment with maybe a smaller size?

I agree with Northrop for the most part except I like the sig font the way it is.
 
I don't know if I like the border at the top. Seems to really distract me away from the picture.

The bottom is fine. See what it would look like without the top?
 
I think the top boarder needs to be a little thicker, or removed all together.

Also the caption is a sans-seriff mixed with a seriff font, as I learned in graphics in my sr year at highschool, not always the best idea. If you changed the URL to something in sans-seriff I think it would look a bit better.

I've tried different sizes on the top border and didn't like it that much thicker. When it was thicker it drew my eye to much, but that was prob cause I just changed it lol.
Very good point there about the fonts. I'll have to check into that.

you could just increase the vertical canvas size (anchor at bottom)... asumming you have photochop of course. Doesn't impeed on image, still gives you bigger boarder.
 
Id have widened the top border some and, added side borders the same as the top. to make it more symectrical. I like the signature though.
