Hi,
Is it possible to boot off a usb floppy drive on the Abit NF7-S v2.0 motherboard? The reason I ask is I think I fried my floppy port...
Thanks in advance.

You think you fried your floppy port?????? You mean, your actual drive, cable, ide conector on the board?????? i dont understand

Well
I tried two different floppy cables, and two different floppy drives...Both do not work. Are there any other ways I can test the port to see if its good?

do they show up on "My Computer" or the BIOS??? if they do, it could be that the floppy is bad, which happen 75% of the time. If is dosent show up in either then, make sure you have the correct floppy drive enabled in the BIOS, then go ahead and try it. Else, im not of what else you could do about it.

p.s. have you tried the floppies in a whole diffrent computer??

actually, ive had a suprising ammount of floppy drive ribbons that cause problems.
