Booting and BSOD issues.

Okay so in the past, any time i move my computer i get "you have a SATA port issue" error on Dr. Debug on my ASRock.

I found out that this issue was loose RAM and reseatting RAM solved the issue. (Thanks whoever pointed that out)

I started getting BSODs the other day and i thought it was loose RAM and I blew out the RAM slots on MB and blew out the RAM. I reinserted and still getting BSODs or not fully booting (getting stuck on loading screen after entering PW or partially loads and taskbar is frozen and nothing loads in taskbar)

EDIT:
Ran 31 hours of memtest 7.3 doing 12 complete passed with 0 issues.

So it doesn't seem to be RAM.

I have read reviews that some people have this issue and it seems like a RAM slot issue/MB issue.

I also did chdsk and fix mbr or whatever in CMD (forget what it was called) They all found no issues.

I also have 0 overclocks on my rig ATM.

I should have newest BIOS too but next i was going to do is re-install BIOS and tinker with BIOS settings.

I get to desktop and all background programs are hanging and I can't get network to load. I can open chrome and word but no internet because it can't load everything. Some programs crash due to errors. I did chdsk and the other stuff and it is not windows or hard drive related. Memory also passes 30 hours of memtest.

UPDATE:

tried BIOS update and BSODed

Tried manual votlages and BSODed.

Any thoughts? bad Motherboard? RAM seems fine. Also 950 PRO is in perfect shape.

ASRock OC Formula
4.8GHz binned delidded 6700K running at stock ATM
Gskill Trident 3200 CL14-14-14-34 T2
512GB 950 PRO
980TI
EVGA 1300 G2
always on a UPS with voltage and sine correction in a neighborhood with solid power.
other none important things

Here are all the minidumps

Have you tried booting it without the 980Ti installed?
not yet but why would that be an issue?

The minidumps appear to show memory issues and not gpu issues.

also finished 31 hnours of memtest 12 passes with no issues.

Why would the GPU cause the computer to struggle to load programs.

It's possible your PSU is weak and the load coming on the is causing voltage dips which reference themselves as generic RAM issues in the OS. it could also be a voltage drop in what's going to the CPU and the memory controller is causing the issue.

But stripping your unit down to it's most basic format and testing it with as few things connected as possible is the first step in troubleshooting an unknown problem.

When I do it, I always swap the PSU first because quite frankly that's the problem half the time. If that doesn't resolve it I strip it down and start adding things in until it acts up.

I have a 1300w G2. I doubt I even use 50%

Even if you had a 2000 megawatt super special house warmer from Tesla, that doesn't mean it's functioning probably. Yes, that's a great PSU, being great doesn't mean it's not prone to any failure whatsoever.

Yea...not buying it. It turns on into windows but won't 100% boot. I get to desktop and all background programs are hanging and I can't get network to load. That doesn't seem like a PSU issue.

OK, good luck.

Sounds like a rough experience. I'd still strip down the rig and start troubleshooting it from the ground up. It's solid advice to rule out hardware.

I know but i really want to start at probable locations and MB seems to be a likely problem.

I'll take the GPU out and reinstall BIOS

I am thinking MB at this point. I doubt my CPU went bad considering i havent even OCed it in months.

PSU still seems unlikely. I'll try switching it out later

Do you have a spare drive to do a fresh OS install and test with?

Agree that it could be a weak PSU regardless of it's rating.
The "weak" refers to it's condition, not its power rating.

Not saying it's the PSU, but you do have to consider everything until you
can narrow down the actual cause.

Have seen memory pass many hours of Memtest and still be the problem.
Try swapping out the RAM or try single modules at a time.

already test one stick at a time and mentested single and both sticks at once.

I'll switch PSU out later.

Want to buy a new motherboard but no one has given me good options in other thread.

BSODs are usually drivers isn't it? While black screens are usually hardware related. Along with the above suggestion, could you try booting into safe mode? Have you tried cleaning out your power supply? Maybe the power cords are corroded? Goodluck in your troubleshooting, sucks having a kaput computer.

BSODs can be hardware depending what the failure is.
